easter at the diamond

this year we did something a bit unusual but midwestern for our easter egg hunt. we went to the Gateway Grizzley's baseball park for their annual easter egg throw down. it wasn't a hunt so much as a scoop. jasper was beset with agoraphobia being set down in the middle of a vast field alone with his neon plastic goals, matthijas cried because he didn't get the biggest egg on the field, leaving arcadia to be our only non-crier. which is big considering she has just barely overcome her paralyzing fear of mascots (which were many at this shindig).
