The British Museum- The Greeks

When we went on our trip to Greece we only had 4 hours in Athens, so we knew we needed to head to the Parthenon, but we didn't have much time (or money). We decided to skip the inside and go to the museum. Sadly no one in town seemed to know where the museum was, even though we had the map and got off at the appointed subway stop.

We always felt cheated. But then we learned that half of the inside had been whisked away from Greece by wealthy, impirialist Brits and are now stored in the Nation Gallery. We no longer feel so sad.
