One of the most peaceful places in Chicago is in the middle of Navy Pier, one of the busiest, noisiest, overcrowded tourists spot in town.
The stained glass museum is housed amidst the Ferris Wheel, the IMAX, the Children's Museum, the speed boats, the NPR radio station, the shops, the fireworks, the convention center, and still, it is the most relaxing peaceful place.
I especially like to visit the museum in the winter because the light coming through the windows is constantly shifting so the pieces can show off all of their dazzling layers.
They also make really great wallpaper for my phone.
