Master the Met

Sometimes Daddy gets left out of our blogging world. I am pretty sure he never reads it unless I derail him as he passes the computer and plop his behind right in front of latest news from his own abode.

Today is all about Dad being a stud. At about 9:30 last night he got a call from a friend asking if he wanted to join his team for an American Lung Association event called "Master the Met".

From their site here is a description..."On March 6, 2010, nearly 1,000 will huff and puff their way to the top of the Metropolitan Square Building for a great cause. This is more than your same-old 5K. This event is a vertical race to climb 42 floors. Whether climbing for a winning time or simply to cross the finish line, in honor or in memory of someone with lung disease, this event is a great way to challenge yourself physically. We guarantee that all finishers will have a newfound respect for healthy lungs!" (http://www.mrsnv.com/evt/home.jsp?id=2821)

With no Stairmaster training at all, Johannes raced his way to the top. No word yet on his time or how his team did over all. Here is the team wearing their US Air Force workout gear before the race, and with his biggest fan.
