We got to stop off and see our friend Darren in Denver on the way so that was fun. It's been like 5 years, since the Borah High School 10 year class reunion, that we've seen him, though we get lots of email updates, and now Facebook (we love facebook). He felt bad that he couldn't let us sleep at is place, a 1 bedroom (as if we would ever try to impose our expanding brood on a single guy) so he bought us dinner at a Thai place and showed us around Denver, and pointed out all the fun stuff they were setting up for the Democratic National Convention, which we just missed by a day. We were bummed that we were missing the FREE Rage Against the Machine show (as evidenced by Johannes' T-shirt), but we had just seen them in Chicago. Thanks again for the good time Darren!
