Our condo in the sky

Some of you have been asking about pictures of this mystery condo we have in Chicago, so here they are.

Over Labor Day weekend we were able to go up to Chicago, again, and this time we were able to stay in our own condo and not pay for a stinking hotel (although the parking alone even in our building is a killer $30 for overnight only privledges). We came up to make sure the place was clean, all the repairs finished and to finish furnishing the place. We are the building with the sign "condos for sale". We are right across the street from the Museum of Contemporary Art and next door to the Water Tower Place (the really tall white building) and about 2 blocks from the Hancock Tower (the black spire with large Xs).

I really like the kitchen. Johannes picked out cherry wood cabinets and a great slate floor that never looks dirty.

The living/dining area and bedroom with a better mattress than we have.

The bathroom is sort of like a water-closet with a shower, it's really tiny, but it is all marble.
