Lollapalooza

We planned to come to Chicago this year during Lolla. Unfortunately the line-up wasn't as appealing this year as it was in years past. Mostly we wanted to see Rage Against the Machine. Not to be blasphemous but Perry Farrell has an amazing ability to resurrect. The Pixies a few years ago. Rage this year. Bands missed the first time around (well Johannes got to see Rage once) magically appear on Lollas playlist as headliners. But because we brought all three kids (Jasper being like 2 weeks old) we decided to skip the "fun" and just watch the show from across the street. We loaded the kids up in strollers and walked down across the street from Grant's Park and parked ourselves in a reat spot. We were able to see the stage and the giant screen and the sound was totally clear. And there was no threat to injury due to the incredible crowd press. Zac had to stop the show like 3 times ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G47kLtC1GjA) to chill out the crowd and move girls from the front rows. Why girls would even think it's a good idea to be in the first 15 rows of a Rage show is beyond me.
