easter egg hunt at Eckerts

For our Easter festivities we went to Eckert's Farm for an Easter egg hunt.



Matthijas figured things out pretty quickly. The announcer told the kids they each got 12 eggs. He was only able to gather 11, so he decided to go over to the next age bracket's space and pick up the one egg he was due to equal 12.



Arcadia is still a believer, and although she knew that the guy in the bunny suit wasn't the real Easter Bunny, she also didn't run away screaming from him.



Jasper was excited just to have an empty egg.



The kids loved the albino bunny. Unfortunately the bunny had already had too much love from other kids by the time I held him and he tinkled all over my leg.



This chick tried to peck through my skin.



She was overjoyed by the sheer cuteness of the chick.



Matthijas thought the chick had funny toes.



This was the creepiest and worst Easter Bunny I have yet to encounter. Not only is it a scary looking costume, I think there was a drugged out kid inside who wasn't aware of what was going on. It took a lot of prodding to get the bunny to pose with the kids.
