We decided, kind of at the last minute, to for sure to drive up to Kapadokya (Cappadocia) and just make it a one day round trip adventure. I was a little worried as we got to be about an hour away and there was pretty dense fog all around, but as we wound our way a bit down the back of the mountains the fog lifted and things were beautiful in Cappadocia and the town of Goreme where we visited the open air museum with all of the frescos and caves.
I'm not going to go through and give a lot of history on Cappadocia since I already did that in this blog before, so if you are interested, flip back a few months and see the first trip.
