This was originally built as a Christian church in the 9th or 10th century, as you can see by the the archways. It would be very common if found in Europe. However, it was converted into a mosque in 1415 by Ramazanoglu Ahmet Bey. Now it has Arabic script and prayer rugs throughout.
(There was no one there to let me in, so I just covered my head with a shawl, stood in the entry where you take off your shoes, and took the picture. )
