On Sunday the 28th of October, I flew from Incirlik AB, Turkey to Ramstein AB, Germany on a military hop. That’s right, I flew 2500 miles in the WRONG direction. And the next flight to the Persian Gulf was on Thursday, the 1st of November. So, I waited. I got a billet at Ramstein Lodging, and started waiting. Fortunately, it was a nice time of year in Rheinland-Pfalz, and I was able to walk around base doing some errands and enjoying the autumn leaves.
